Your First Time at ACAC

We're excited you're planning to visit us soon!

Choose from six weekend service options to find a time and style that's right for you!

SATURDAYS   6:00 PM
SUNDAYS        8:30 AM, 9:50 AM (chapel service also available), 11:15 AM, 12:35 PM

LOCATION

Visitor Parking

If you're visiting for the first time, use our Visitor Parking Lot (P1 in map below). Just turn off East Ohio onto Union Place, then left into the first lot. You'll enter directly into our main lobby off the sanctuary, where we can help you at the Connection Hub or Welcome Center.

Children

If you have children, they’re certainly welcome to join you in our sanctuary. If you prefer to use our Children’s Ministry or Nursery (age 2 or less), please arrive 15-20 minutes ahead of time. Ask an usher or stop by the Connection Hub when you enter the main lobby and we’ll guide you to the right place.

WELCOME CENTER
If you are new to ACAC, the Welcome Center outside our sanctuary in the main lobby is a great place to meet people and find out more about our church.  Please come introduce yourself before or after service - we'd love to talk with you!

CONNECTION HUB
The Connection Hub, also in the main lobby, is the place to check out opportunities to serve or participate and register for events. We want to make it easy for you to connect and find your place at ACAC!

GETTING TO KNOW OUR CAMPUS

We recognize, as an urban ministry, ours is not the easiest campus to figure out! (In fact, we're currently redesigning our campus to be more user-friendly!)

In the meantime, take a minute to review our campus map and see where things are located.

Here's what you're looking at...

(1) Main Building: Worship services are held in the Sanctuary. Main lobby holds our Connections Hub and Welcome Center. Lower level has Simpson Hall Cafe and Nursery (up to age 2.)

(2) Whiteside: Home to our Student Ministries.

(3) Union Place:  Robinson Chapel service on Sundays at 9:50am. Located on the first floor - offering a smaller, more intimate setting.

(4) Children's Ministry at 4 Allegheny Center: On Sundays, children 2 years through 5th grade meet on the 3rd floor. Allow extra time for check-in. Learn More

(P1) Visitor Parking Lot: Please use this lot when you're new, especially on your first visit or two.

(P2) Union Place Parking Lot: Another available place on campus for guests and elderly attenders.

(P3) School Parking Lot: Only available on Sundays.

(P4) 4 Allegheny Center Garage: Ideal for those using Children's Ministry. In order to be admitted to the garage you must have a parking sticker. For no charge you can register for your parking sticker at a Connection Hub in the Main Building.

(P5) Nova Place garage (formerly Mall garage): Another garage available on Sundays, just steps from our campus.

COMMON QUESTIONS

WHAT ARE YOUR SERVICES LIKE?
We open with vocal worship, mixing musical styles in recognition of our diversity. That's followed by Biblically-based teaching meant to help you understand and apply God's liberating truth.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
There is no dress code at ACAC!  You'll see people in business attire and casual wear. We only ask you avoid immodest attire.

WHAT ABOUT COMMUNION?
We generally celebrate communion the first weekend of each month.  All believers are welcome to participate.

WHAT IF I NEED PRAYER?
There's a prayer room down the hall from the back of the sanctuary. It's staffed with people ready to pray for your needs or concerns.

WHERE CAN I GET A BITE TO EAT?
Now you're talking! Nothing beats breakfast or lunch in our Simpson Hall café, located on the lower level off the main lobby. We offer a full array of hot meals, salad and fruit bars, and beverages - all at a price you can't beat anywhere. Pull up a chair and make friends over a meal!

WILL I BE FORMALLY RECOGNIZED AS A GUEST DURING THE SERVICE?
No! No one likes to be singled out. You'll be able to blend in without worry.
