Women's Bible Study
Women's Bible Study 2019-20
Jesus in the Old Testament
Seeing Jesus in Every Story
(Sep - Jan)
History is HIS story. The Bible in its entirety is the unfolding drama of Redemption--beginning in Genesis all the way through to Revelation. While each book and every story has its own treasures to explore, there is a crimson thread of Redemption that weaves through all of Scripture.
This fall in Women's Bible Study, we are going to look at the Old Testament with eyes to see Jesus. We will meet real people, study events in their lives, and uncover the movements of God in their stories. And as we do, we will learn how to more readily recognize God's movement in our own.
David: Profiles of an Authentic Life
(Feb - Apr)
As we study the life of David we'll discover what made him a man after God's own heart. David was such an unlikely candidate for king - but God knew exactly what He was looking for and found it in David. In God's eyes, David was the whole package. And what God sees matters most. We'll explore David's example of devotion, courage, friendship, mercy, and more.
Each Thursday morning or evening session begins with a light continental breakfast or soup & salad supper, followed by worship, large group instruction, and small group discussion.

Connecting Women for Kingdom Impact Locally and Globally
We connect locally because the gospel transforms communities.
We connect globally because the gospel is for all people.
We give toward each year's National Project - this year's theme: Set Free
"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." - John 8:36
We have an active group of widows who meet on a regular basis for fellowship, discipleship and share emotional support with others who can relate to the experience of having lost their spouse.
