Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
There are three Alliance churches in northern Syria that are in the hot zone of the Turkish invasion. Two of them are within 30 km of the border.
In the last few days, the fighting there has lead to displacement of 130,000 people running for safety.
The local Alliance churches have maintained a presence to help those in need as they flee the violence under threat of death. May our God help them to be supernaturally strong and courageous in these dire circumstances.
Please join us in prayer for:
- the safety of the local Alliance churches as they help those in need,
- wisdom for the pastors and for the Syrian national church president,
- other churches and the 100,000 Aran and Kurdish Christians in northern Syria who face voluntary or forced displacement in the face of aggression and foreign occupation,
- people to seek God and turn to Him in their time of need.
Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
