Your First Time at ACAC
We're excited you're planning to visit us soon!
Choose from four weekend service options to find a time and style that's right for you!
SATURDAYS 6:00 p.m.
SUNDAYS 8:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m. (chapel service also available), and 11:30 a.m.
If you're visiting for the first time, use our visitor parking lot (P1 on the map below). Just turn off East Ohio onto Union Place, then left into the first lot. You'll enter directly into our main lobby where we can help you at the Visitor Center.
If you have children, they’re certainly welcome to join you in our main service. However, we have interactive Children’s Ministries and Nursery (age 2 or younger) where they will learn about Jesus at their age level. Our volunteers and staff have clearances and are ready to welcome them. Please arrive 15-20 minutes before the service so we can get them registered. Ask a greeter or stop by the Visitor Center when you enter the main lobby, and we’ll guide you to the right place.
If you are new to ACAC, the Visitor Center outside our sanctuary in the main lobby is a great place to meet people and find out more about our church. Please come introduce yourself before or after service - we'd love to talk with you!
The Connection Hub in each lobby is the place to check out opportunities to serve or participate and register for events. We want to make it easy for you to connect and find your place at ACAC!
GETTING TO KNOW OUR CAMPUS
We recognize, as an urban ministry, ours is not the easiest campus to figure out! (In fact, we're currently redesigning our campus to be more user-friendly!)
In the meantime, take a minute to review our campus map and see where things are located.
Here's what you're looking at...
(1) Main Building: Sanctuary, Connection Hubs, and Visitor Center. Lower level: Simpson Hall Cafe, Nursery (up to age 2), adult classrooms
(2) Whiteside: Student Ministries, Fellowship Hall
(3) Union Place: Robinson Chapel service on Sundays at 10:00 a.m., adult classrooms, staff offices
(4) Children's Ministries at 4 Allegheny Center: On Sundays, children 2 years through 5th grade meet on the 3rd floor. Allow extra time for check-in. Learn More
(P1) Visitor Parking Lot: For first-time visitors and handicapped parking
(P2) Union Place Parking Lot
(P3) School Parking Lot: Only available on Sundays.
(P4) 4 Allegheny Center Garage: Stop by the Visitor Center for a parking pass. Free parking is available on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings with the pass.
(P5) Nova Place garage (formerly mall garage): Another garage available on Sunday mornings and free with a parking pass.
WHAT ARE YOUR SERVICES LIKE?
We open with vocal worship, mixing musical styles in recognition of our diversity. That's followed by biblically based teaching meant to help you understand and apply God's liberating truth.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
There is no dress code at ACAC! You'll see people in business attire and casual wear.
WHAT ABOUT COMMUNION?
We generally celebrate communion the first weekend of each month. All believers are welcome to participate.
WHAT IF I NEED PRAYER?
There's a prayer room near the sanctuary staffed with people ready to pray for your needs or concerns.
WHERE CAN I GET A BITE TO EAT?
Nothing beats breakfast or lunch in our Simpson Hall café off the main lobby. We offer a full array of hot meals, salad and fruit bars, and beverages - well below restaurant pricing. Pull up a chair and make friends over a meal!
