Loleda Moman, MA, BSW - Care Connections Ministries Director

As the Director of Care Connections Ministries it is very important that I remember where I come from and what God has done for me.

I was raised by a single mother who loved me with all heart, my biological father was absent for several years but my step-father helped support me until graduating from high school (Oliver). Life presented the good, bad and indifferent but together we have overcome many obstacles.

At the age of 17 I gave my life to the Lord because I wanted something better.

Later at the age of 21, I married my awesome husband Sean and together we have 2 beautiful children (William & Morgan). In 2004, I decided to continue my education as an adult learner at CCAC (Allegheny Campus); 2007, I transferred to Carlow University to pursue Bachelor of Social Work degree and 2012; I pursued Master of Organizational Leadership degree.

Jesus has been my best friend through all of life’s trials and tribulations. He has never left me… I’ve had many opportunities to second guess God but instead I continued to believe and to follow him. Life has not always been bright but in the midst of the storms HE has always made a way for me and my family. Jesus is my all and all, my provider, my healer, my strength, my comforter, my hope, my encourager and my closest friend.

Michael Gregory - After Care Prison Ministry Coordinator

For eighteen years, I used and sold drugs.  This caused me to go in and out of incarceration, but since January 2010, I have been clean and have not been back to jail or prison. I’m thankful for a GOD of many chances. I decided to put God first and when I made that my decision ---things just haven’t been the same. I started attending ACAC, and things just started to shape differently. He blessed me with a full-time job, with in months I was promoted to supervisor then I married my beautiful wife (Theresa), he restored my relationship with my four older sons who live in Texas, and I gained custody of my 7 year old son! In addition to that my wife and I had a beautiful baby boy (Malik)! He has done so much for me and I know it’s undeserving but GOD loves me unconditionally- and that’s why I am here serving in the After Care Jail & Prison ministry as the facilitator. I want those who have traveled a similar journey to know who HE is and how they can find him. GOD ‘S LOVE IS AWESOME!

Sheran White - After Care Prison Ministry Event Planner/Administrator

I have been a part of the AfterCare Jail & Prison Ministry since 2011.  Being a part of this ministry has been a blessing to me.  It allows me to see the hand of God at work in the lives of the least of these.  I have seen Him restore what the locusts have devoured, as they return to society after living their lives afar, sometimes after decades.  Scripture tells us He is able to do exceedingly abundantly and I have witnessed this on numerous occasions in the lives of those we serve in AfterCare Jail and Prison Ministry here at ACAC.

Edmunds Sr, in 1967 and together they have 2 adult children and 5 grandchildren. She and her family have been attending ACAC since 1992. Sheila says, "I have been truly blessed and I know God has shown me the path to bless others through ACAC's Care Connections Ministries."
