First, please watch this VIDEO.  If you are not convinced of the need for media missionaries, think again.  “If facebook were a country, it would be the 3rd largest country in the world.”  If Justin Bieber, Britany Spears and Lady Gaga really do have more Twitter followers than the entire populations of North Korea, Sweden, Israel, Greece, Chili and Australia shouldn't the church show more diligence in reaching out to this world? 

We are Allegheny Center Alliance Church and, together, we are following Jesus in diverse community.  Within our very own church family, we represent towns, cities, counties, and even nations.  It is vital that we preach the good news of Jesus in a relatable manner.  The communication styles of the times have changed from those of a decade past.  What we now print, blog, post, and tweet can help build the Kingdom. How we involve ourselves in this missional opportunity will redefine our legacy in the current generation of Christ-followers.

How are you reaching the lost in the 4^th largest country in the world?  Are you sharing the Good News of Jesus simply by word-of-mouth, or do you utilize technology to help spread His Word to people and places you may never physically see? 

ACAC family, the time has come for us to step out of the old and into the new.  I hope that you are ready to make a splash and let your user-generated involvement impact our world.  This is not a staff-dictated ministry.  This is you and me sharing, caring, and communicating our love for Jesus and our passion to see ACAC networked, informed, in-community, equipped - ready to reach the world for God.
