The threads that connect us to God,
one another, and our mission and purpose
Following Jesus in diverse community is our mission at ACAC. By its very nature, following Jesus (i.e., discipleship) is a dynamic and transformational process. As a result, there is no rote formula for following Jesus, but there are certain key components - we call them Threads - that position us for transformation. They are Worship ... Grow ... Serve... At ACAC, these three are the Threads that connect us to God, to one another, and to our mission and purpose in the world.
Three Threads - Two Times:
Our hope is that you, who call ACAC your church home, will engage all three of these Threads on a regular weekly basis. Knowing that you have responsibilities at home, at work, and in your own community however, we have designed our ministry schedule to allow you to participate in all three of these Threads with, at most, two visits to the church. Anyone will be able to participate in two of the three Threads on the weekend (i.e., Worship & Grow or Worship & Serve), leaving the opportunity to engage the final Thread at a convenient time during the week.
