SUPPORT MINISTRIES & ADVANCEMENT MINISTRIES SUPPORT MINISTRIES Financial Integrity: To help plan and install a good budget and accounting system and be responsible for its efficient operation. To develop and recommend policies and procedures for actions related to the receiving, handling, banking, disbursing and accounting for all church funds. Shepherd's Table (Food Service): To work in the development of policies and procedures for efficient and economical operation. Supervise the kitchen and dining areas so they are equipped and maintained. See that food is properly received, stored, prepared and served with a minimum of labor and a maximum of speed. Assure that all food handling is done in accordance with Allegheny County Health Department requirements. Maximize ministry use of the Simpson Hall kitchen. ADVANCEMENT MINISTRIES Facility and Equipment Management: To supervise the purchasing, construction, maintenance, insuring and operation of all church properties, grounds, equipment and furniture. Computer Support: To provide a computer system which helps the staff manage the information necessary to keep the church operating efficiently. Staff Services: Responsible for employing, training, supervising and terminating of support ministries personnel. Responsible to be a support to the other departments in these areas. Annually review the employee handbook, overall salary and performance structure and make recommendations to the executive pastor. Office Management: To plan, direct and coordinate all work in the church office to that all programs and the needs of the leaders and members are served in the most efficient manner. Develop and maintain organization, personnel relationships, and improved methods and procedures to provide this service. Maintain a master calendar of events and schedule for the use of the facilities. Professional and Community Activities: To network through professional organizations, seminars, denomination and community opportunities. Car Ministry: To give donors opportunity to donate used cars to ACAC. To provide free cars to missionaries, ministry leaders and needy ACAC families. |
